Pride of America is a Pure Peruvian treasure! Impressive grey genetics from sire Dom Timbo, and advanced fleece characteristics from outstanding fawn dam 6Peruvian Maisa combined to produce a fleece of amazing fineness, density, staple length, brightness and high-frequency crimp. His first fleece took Best of Show at Fiberfest 2002; the next a Blue Ribbon at the AOBA National Conference 2003. He has also taken firsts and seconds in full-fleece halter classes and in composite. Miss Desi is a fine fleeced Peruvian girl and an excellent producer. She has good conformation and nice fleece but not the density and “eye appeal” to be considered "show quality". Desi has the sought-after rich chestnut brown (maroon) color. All of her cria have been brown, black or grey with above-average fineness. Desi herself maintains a 22 micron uniform fleece at 5 years of age and several years of breeding.
Desi can be a handful during herd health and shearing, so we prefer to sell... |

Lindy is a nice-quality grey female backed by powerful genetics. She's the daughter of Pride of America whose impressive lineage includes sire Dom Timbo, and an outstanding fawn dam 6Peruvian Maisa. On her dam's side is all black and brown - PLF Peruvian Double Black Flash and 6P Odesa.
Lindy has great square conformation, solid in all respects. Like her dam before her, Lindy's fleece continues to be fine at 22 microns and has a low standard deviation - we are truly impressed with the uniformity of micron throughout her blanket giving her a very soft hand.
Lindy is offered with two complimentary breedings to any Tall Corn herdsire.
